5 days of in person theoretical and practical training at our centre in Colchester, or approx 30 hrs online theory training as supported distance learning followed by one day of practical training.
Qualification details
More than 1,600 hours experience -Train the painter Bronze Protective Coating Applicator ID card and e-Certificate valid for 5 years.
Students with less than 1,600 hours experience will receive a Trainee Protective Coating Applicator ID card and e-Certificate valid for 5 years. They will then log their hours via the TTP app and can apply for their card to be exchanged for a full card once they have achieve 1.600 hours on site.
• Train the painter is a CSCS partner card scheme member. All TTP ID cards are official CSCS skills cards featuring the CSCS hologram. ID cards can be verified on the CSCS Smart card checker App.
This comprehensive and unique training programme, available in multiple languages, is delivered in the classroom and onsite by our professionally trained trainer who assesses the operatives rigorously throughout the training programme ensuring workmanship meets the high standards expected by both onshore and offshore companies worldwide.
DELEGATES COMPLETING THE TRAIN THE PAINTER - PROTECTIVE COATINGS APPLICATOR MODULE WILL BE ABLE TO:

The course duration is 5 days. The 5 days can be split into separate sessions to allow candidates / employers to plan their time in the classroom around their work commitments.
The course fee includes your registration with the scheme and your wallet I.D card.

Train the painter is the internationally accredited coating applicator training and certification programme created and developed by experts throughout the industry. TTP Bronze, Silver and Gold are now required industry qualifications for many major contractors.

REQUIREMENTS
In order to complete the Train The Painter - Protective Coatings Applicator module delegates must:
· Be at least 18 years old
QUALIFICATION
The course duration is 5 days, at the end of the course candidates are assessed via a written assessment and a practical assessment
On completion of the course candidates are registered as a Bronze member of the TTP scheme.
Your qualification will last for 5 years before renewal is needed. It now includes the CSCS card as standard.
