Our Story

HC Technical CEO and founder, Hannah Cox TMIET, PCQI, ICORR Level 3, has worked as an engineer with a specific interest in industrial coatings for over twenty five years across a variety of industries.  She is a level 3 ICorr certified industrial coatings inspector, and a registered member of both The Institution Of Engineering And Technology and The Chartered Quality Institute.

With a surge in the demand for consulting and contracting services, she formed HC Technical Consulting and Contracting Services Ltd in 2014.  Now HC Technical provides a full suite of consulting and contracting services, with clients in a variety of sectors including boat building, power production, mining and quarrying.

Together with consulting and contracting services, HC Technical offers the full range of Train the Painter training courses to those wishing to achieve new coating qualifications, both for contractors and supervisors. 

With membership to the Institute of Corrosion (ICORR), the BSI, the Society for Protective Coatings (SSPC) and the Chartered Quality Institute, all leading bodies in the field of industrial coatings and quality control / assurance, you can have all of the assistance that you need, from paint application to project management and inspection, to ensure that the coating services provided by HC Technical, are at the forefront of industry best practices and applied and inspected to the highest of paint specification and coating standards.
